Dr. Sandy Martin
Diagnostic Radiologist
Dr. Martin graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1994. She completed her Diagnostic Radiology Residency in Birmingham, Alabama at the Baptist Medical Centers. Following residency, Dr. Martin completed a Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Some of her special interests include MRI of Sports Injury and Low Dose Lung Cancer Screening CT.
Dr. Gerald Karcher
Diagnostic Radiologist
Dr Karcher grew up in New Orleans, attending first Loyola University, then LSU, earning a bachelor of science degree. He attended medical school at LSUMC in New Orleans, earning his M.D.. He moved to Birmingham in 1991 for his radiology residency at Baptist Medical Centers, then went on to complete a 2 year fellowship in pediatric radiology/neuroradiology at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C..
Dr. Anne DeAtkine
Diagnostic Radiologist
Dr. DeAtkine earned her B.S. at Vanderbilt University. She attended medical school at University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas. She completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency at Duke. She then did a fellowship in Body Imaging, also at Duke.
